What We Do!

 

The Cooking Corps brings excitement to food and nutrition through projects designed for all ages and abilities.  Presented as fun food projects, every event is infused with brief, valuable nutrition information.

Cooking Corps volunteer instructors are dietetics students affiliated with the University of New Haven's Nutrition and Dietetics Program.  These future Registered Dietitians are passionate about nutrition education and would love to teach your group about healthy eating.


We have individualized lesson plans for the following groups:

  • Kids of all ages with learning/developmental disabilities
  • Preschools
  • Elementary schools
  • Youth sports teams
  • Parents with preschool and school aged children.

We are happy to develop a lesson plan that is tailored to your group’s needs.
